The Crown process

From concept to installed finish.

Five clear steps, one project manager, and responsibilities written down before work begins — so you are never the one coordinating the trades.

How a Crown project runs

From the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

Timelines below are typical ranges from the Crown process. Your consultation sets the real schedule for your project.

Light living room with a yellow accent chair, brass floor lamp and framed art
Step 01Typically 60–90 min

Design consultation

A showroom visit or an in-home consultation. We talk through scope, finish direction, budget and timeline expectations before any commitment — and whether Crown is the right fit.

White flat-panel kitchen with black pendant lights over a quartz island
Step 02Typically 1–3 weeks

Concept & space planning

Layout options and a first finish direction, developed from what we learned in the consultation, so the design leads and the finishes follow.

White countertop and subway tile backsplash under glass-front cabinets
Step 03Typically 2–4 weeks

Design development & documentation

Final material and finish selections at the Casselberry showroom, and the design documentation the responsible providers work from.

Contractor sourcing & project management

Crown coordinates design communication, scheduling and vendor sequencing. The written engagements identify who is responsible for engineering, construction and applicable permits.

Design & coordination

Interior design, architectural-design coordination and project-management coordination.

Apice Engineering LLC, through PE Rodrigo DePaula

Professional engineering and signing, subject to verification of the required credentials and a written project-specific engagement.

Construction

Daniel Jorge Management LLC (DJM)

Accepted construction, contracted only within its verified scope.

Crown Studio provides interior design, architectural-design coordination, and project-management coordination. Professional engineering and signing are provided by Apice Engineering LLC through PE Rodrigo DePaula, subject to verification of the required credentials and a written project-specific engagement. Crown Studio is not the licensed engineering or stamping provider. Architecture requiring a licensed architect must be separately assigned to an appropriately licensed professional. Accepted construction is contracted through Daniel Jorge Management LLC (DJM), only within its verified scope. Design coordination does not create one contract covering every provider; each engagement identifies its responsible entity, scope, fees, and applicable permit responsibilities.

Why this works

One design vision. One point of accountability.

No disconnected material decisionsCabinets, stone, flooring and lighting are chosen together, against one design.
No homeowner-led coordinationCrown sequences vendors and keeps the schedule and the conversation in one place.
Nothing assumedWho is responsible for design, engineering and construction is written down before work begins.
